"This was utterly ridiculous and outlandish, and not in a good way. I forced myself to finish it to see the end but it definitely a hate watch. There really are some good performances, including the always great Stanley Tucci. But the story is so far fetched that I just got madder as it went along. "
"10/10 🌟 Stanley Tucci never disappoints! This was ironic, sarcastic, and just plain funny! 🤣 This was binge worthy and what I like about it was that it was short and there were no efforts in trying to elongate it, causing unnecessary, boring scenes! It was great! I’d watch again! #stanleytucci #crime #mystery #prison #british #dark-comedy"
"Interesting concept with a great writing/plot. Honestly felt a little strange watching it because it seemed like there were different directors depending on if they were in the US or in England, or maybe it was just a me thing. But the twists and turns make this both amazing and infuriating (in an I'm-really-into-this-show way). I do recommend as it can be a short binge with only 4 eps but it also sets up for a second season which is not confirmed but I think likely."
"Far fetched yet brilliant all the same! I loved the multiple twists and turns and the odd chuckles in wrong situations - that alone is a smart move. Well done. "

"So much stupidity stuffed into one little show. If, when you watch the idiots in slasher films decide it's best to hide in dead-ends (like cellars and attics and closets), you really wish you were the one killing them, then you'll have a sh1t-ton of people you'll want to kill in this show. No, it's not a slasher show, but it IS filled with some of the dumbest people on earth. Not even Tucci and Tennant could save this disaster. As usual, I'm easily entertained, hence the 2 stars, but I doubt it deserves 2 stars.
EDIT: Someone just liked my review, which made me come back to see the other reviews of this show. I find it so interesting how divided people are on this one. It seems you either love it or hate it. For me, it was hard to believe anyone could be so stupid and make the ridiculous choices the vicar made. As I said before, I'm easily entertained, so I hung in there through to the end. But it was truly terrible. I am flabbergasted that anyone could find this one to be a three star show, let alone four or five stars. My daughter and I started this together, and she couldn't get past the first episode. I persevered, as usual. I think the best thing that could come out of this would be a crime solving duo, of Tucci and his friend, from prison. As long as they made the new characters for each new crime, be believable because one more stupid person making a stupid choice, and I would be done."
