"This is a cooking show aimed at transforming failing chefs (nominated by restaurant owners) into assets. Chef Cliff is great; he doesn’t make the show about himself, nor does he ridicule. The drama comes from stubborn or overly sensitive chefs. Cliff mentors coolly and calmly. At the end of each show he sits with the chef & owner to honestly assess the chef’s fitness for his/role. These days, shows last for 6 episodes and disappear. This show deserves to be renewed. "
