"It's funny honest and relatable. The personification of his subconscious was a good illustration of what it's like living in your own head. It has everything to do with mental health. As a whole it has a really great message. The characters and their stories are great. It has a message of building a community with friends and family. And following your own path in life, and that it's okay if sometimes your path changes nobodies really got it together just keep tearing. It ends a bit sad. "
"I watched this while I was in Rome over the summer with no expectations going into it and damn it was good. I understand it can be a lot to take in the beginning, but I promise it’s such a hilarious and heartbreaking show that had me unexpectedly crying at the end. It’s such a brilliantly told and unforgettable story whose message I will always take with me. It’s a comfort to any person who may be feeling lost or uncertain in life despite where you are in the world.
It’s funny cause going to a new country people are usually interested in the history, and while I understand its importance, I think this story will always be more memorable to me than any of the history I learned on that trip cause of it’s raw and honest look into some random person’s life who lives an ocean away from me who I’ll probably never cross paths with that I, also as a person, could relate to. It shows our connectedness as humans no matter who or where we are in the world or despite our culture or background.
Overall I highly recommend and there’s another show by the same person on Netflix too if you enjoyed this one!"
