"As strange as this seems, after all of the years that I have seen Ted Danson since the 1980's, this mini series was the most impressive of his acting performances to me. The character of Lemuel Gulliver is beautifully and emotionally crafted by Danson. He shows a range of emotions during his journey to get back to England: determination, guile, anger, hopelessness, eagerness, and finally forgiveness and love. Robert Halmi has produced over 200 mini series, and I absolutely adore this one. Danson's real life wife, Mary Steenburgen, plays the role of his wife, Mary, who awaits his return with their young son. Great acting from the entire cast, and there are fun special effects. "

"A nice adaptation of the book of the same name, though with a difference of the overall story as each story moves into the next one rather then as Gulliver is able to journey home after each adventure to tell his family of his travels!"
