Song of the Moon

"I enjoyed this quite a bit. I enjoyed binbin playing the different characters and the love story. The side characters were great as always. No one builds a loveable side character like they do. There were some plot holes you'll need to ignore near the end but mostly it was well written. Also it was kind of sad that some characters just got dropped mid way. You should know there are two endings. Episodes 39 and 40. I think that was to give watchers a choice in endings but I don't think they needed two endings. 39's ending gave a better character arc for Liu Shao in 39 but the big battle to kill the evil spirit was anticlimactic and there wasn't much closure. 40 gave you closure with your beloved characters and more dynamic ending fight but felt to repetitive of history to give me a satisfying end. Just swap out who dies to kill the evil spirit in episode 40 and we'd have the perfect ending. "
