"I loved this."

"I just finished episode 8, and just had to tout this show again. As stated I am super protective of the original movie, so I was expecting to be disappointed. However the writing and plot line proved on point with the original story while also revealing the bitingly sharp talent of both Alice Englert and Nicolas Denton. Both performers had iconic and intimidating shoes to fill, one that needed to accurately portray the character template set forth without being a mere copy cat type performance. One that to this day makes me shudder 🙄was Ryan Philippe’s attempt of doing his best “Malkovich”impression in Cruel Intentions. Nicolas Denton not only conjures the talent of Mr Malkovich, but adds his own spice and flavor to the mix brilliantly. I was won over by his portrayal of Valmont one that he made his own within a couple installments. Maybe even instantly had I not been so skewed with judgement in loving the 1988 movie as much as I do. Rarely do I write such lengthy reviews, especially of a reboot of sorts, but I feel that this one provided all that could be desired and loving ❤️❤️this series was “Beyond my control.” I certainly hope for more seasons. #DangerousLiasons "
