"Sadly most people probably know Tim Allen as the wacky fascist who believes Fox News and talk radio are real. But when this show came out he wasn’t this way. It’s super funny with a great family dynamic. Like the Bernie Mac show, it’s based on the stand up comedy of Tim Allen, but the stand up was way to R rated (as Bernie’s was) so it’s cleaned up and is the basis for the show. One of the great sitcoms of all time"
"I decided to watch Home Improvement after seeing Tim Allen’s comedy that this show is based on. It was funnier than I thought it would be and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The cast worked well off of each other. (Side note: It’s cool to see the boys grow up right before your eyes as the seasons progress). I do agree with others though about the last season. (Slight spoiler next). It didn’t feel the same after they had Randy (the middle son) go to Costa Rica to study. They brought him back for the Christmas episode but still. I also agree with others that the finale was anticlimactic. Despite this, I still recommend the show. You may not care to watch the whole thing but you’ll likely get some laughs from it. I know I did."
"I absolutely loved 🥰 this television show. Tim was brilliant. The cast was amazing. The episodes were fantastic. It was definitely a 10 out of 10. It was so funny. Certain episodes were really really funny. I admire that I was totally hooked on the show and never missed an episode "
