"A fantasy horror set in a small town with a dark, past brought to light when a group of teens has a Halloween party at the Biddle House and cursed objects brought out into the town! Worth watching as the creatures from R. L. Stine series Goosebumps are written into a dark story where the past comes back to haunt the next generation of kids as the work together to survive!"
"I used to read all things RL Stine when I was a kid. I loved Goosebumps, Fear Street, and anything he wrote. I love this new series so far. They did an excellent job updating it to make it feel fresh without losing the original story. It feels creepier than the previous versions. It feels more like the books. This one would not be for some little kids in my opinion. It even has a little bit of gore. The actors did great and the soundtrack was 🔥. A+"
"I’m curious if there’s more episodes coming out. So far there’s only 5 episodes. I’m loving them all! I read the Goosebumps books as a kid and was really excited about getting into this show. It hasn’t disappointed. It seems like the show may be more creepy than I remember the old show being… idk. Anyone else think this too? "
"Don't get me wrong, this show/series is good but not as good as the show/series from decades ago.
I believe it's because this generation's version is more drawn out for a whole series for one story than just one episode.
In the past, they would jam as much as possible in episodes to Keep you on the edge of your seat, without the need for dragging it on for many episodes.
Is this generation's Goosebumps worth the watch? Of course, but you're not going to get the same feeling as you would from watching past generations' version of Goosebumps. "
