"HOLY SMOKES! I knew that Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward were crazy for each other for more than 50 years & had a pretty solid marriage & commitment to each other, but never realized that in their YOUNGER years they were a “hot & heavy” couple that couldn’t keep their hands off one another!🔥😜 — I ALSO never knew that for the 5 years BEFORE they were married, they had carried on an “affair” while HE was still married to his first wife😮 — Furthermore, I didn’t know that Woodward was the bigger star before Newman, & I was never aware of Woodward’s impressive acting skills, outside of her Oscar-winning performance in THE THREE FACES OF EVE. I also learned that Paul Newman pretty much got his big break in Hollywood when he took over the starring role in a film that James Dean had been cast in just before his fatal car accident…
⭐️ Anyhoo, so far, this is an interesting show 👍🏾 It’s hosted by Ethan Hawke, with contributions & commentary by other famous stars like Sam Rockwell, Laura Linney, George Clooney, Martin Scorsese & countless others."
"Incorporating footage, plus notable actors reading the transcripts makes this such an interesting documentary. They really were an incredibly talented couple."
