Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles

"Here's the thing: I watched the first movie dozens of times before I read the book (ironically while serving in the military) and loved the book. This animated series is a slight continuation of the movie, but much more tame and less violent. Rico's growth from a grunt to squad leader with Dizzy backing him up and calling him out when he falters is excellent! Well written characters and a good followup from the film make this a must watch."
