That is until a talented and beautiful assistant is hired! Her name is Shiori, and she’s a gift from above—literally. While working late one night, her true identity is revealed and they’re instantly engaged!?

"There are two main parts of this show I like. 1. Takes the “forced love” trope in a wild direction. Very much enjoyed that break from the pattern. 2. Learned more about what it is like being a manga writer/artist. I honestly know nothing about the process so it was fun to learn more. All the characters are also very wholesome and is overall a good heart warming show. "

"I loved the behind-the-scenes look at the life of a mangaka and his assistant. Shiori's love of all things manga is infectious 😄. The supernatural aspects could have been explained a little better, but it was still enjoyable. Overall a very sweet, wholesome anime."
