Daredevil: Born Again

"Loving it a lot so far. Will definitely fully review it once it’s all out. CGI can be a little rough looking but really think the lighting helps it not look as bad. It is cool to see DD be a lot more agile though. They just need to smooth that CGI out.The citizens/ background characters dialogue just feels awkward at times. I get they aren’t really actors but just seems forced at times. Other than that really hooked. I really just love hearing Charlie Cox talk. Incredible actor honestly. Don’t care too much about Fisk right now but there are entertaining moments with him. End of episode 2 was sick. They really are teasing with that ending. Can’t wait for all the episodes. Why did they do that though in the first episode😔. It feels really different though not in a bad way. But with the camera and the music. To me it feels like a whole different show in some parts. A big bonus to me."

"Two episodes in, and it’s thankfully very good. It’s kept the darkness we remember from the first DD series. Plenty of quiet moments in between the scenes which propel the story but there’s also the grittiness, suspense, and action you’d expect from a “superhero” show. It feels like a graphic novel come to life because there are snapshots of drama with lines in between the scenes where the reader/viewer fills in the gaps with their own thoughts/feelings/hopes for the characters and the story’s outcomes. Daredevil is one of the darker Marvel heroes, IMO. This show is so far successful in depicting that."

"It’s been a while since we’ve seen DD on screen and this absolutely does not disappoint. As of this moment I am not sure how it’ll go by the end, but you can be sure it’ll be fun. Don’t worry about remembering too much beyond who the characters are. If you must, just look up a screenrant recap to read and you’re caught up."
