"This is one heck of a satire.
To explain this show, it's Black Clover, meets the Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Plus, some Way of the House Husband sprinkled in. It is the exact same premise as Black Clover, with a tad bit of unique world building. Then the overpowered element & reluctant accumulation of friends from Saiki K. Finally, the absurdity and cheap grab jokes House Husband provides. I promise you that perfectly sums up this show. You could even say he has the personality of One Punch Man. So, just a lot of funny gags from other shows stuffed into this one with magic to keep you entertained.
Despite that though, I did enjoy it. I hate the main female, but the main guy is just so heartwarming & surprising. You honestly wonder what he'll do next or why he does something (mostly cream puffs). I found myself pleasantly surprised throughout while also being a tad annoyed like Saiki K & House Husband makes me feel. Like, yes, it's funny, but it is a cheap laugh most of the time, & the overall ridiculous situations might make you chuckle. It also might make you just roll your eyes.
Now, that unique world building I mentioned. It has a very simple premise that any kid or adult can wrap their head around. More marks means more magic, & they play into it hard. However, as the story progresses & you see more people, you feel bonded to the ones introduced. You may not care much for the main guy & slowly find yourself enthralled by the others around him. Meanwhile, as you're distracted by the tragedies & cute moments from the side characters, you unknowingly grow fond of the main character. He's not my favorite by any means, yet when I reached the finale of season 1, I cared about him so much. I still don't care about the main gal. I can see when the writers are trying to make me care for her, yet I just can't. Not even a little, but everyone else is so intriguing, & I'm here for it.
Overall, it was very cute once you got past the first few episodes. Worth it."
"3.5⭐️ It's silly funny (spine magic 😂). But the 2nd season adds more mystery which I'm enjoying. "

"The perfect anime for anime and Magic fans that also happen to be Gym Rats or at least really into exercising like myself. Oh, and I really like cream puffs too. I think this would even appeal to the Harry Potter crowd. Me personally I never been into stuff like that, but this anime right here is so well animated, and I absolutely love all the characters, especially the MC. Now I say this with no hesitation or exaggeration. I have never related to a character more in my life. And in all my years of watching anime. If you like anything, I just said I highly recommend this one."
