Everybody Still Hates Chris

"Now, this is how you do a reboot! I had my reservations about this. I continue to have reservations about reboots as a whole. But this quickly became an exception for me when I watched the first episode. The humor is still as chuckle worthy if not more this time around with it being an animation and it gives the stories and episodes room to be more outlandish and really brings out the silliness the original live action show had back in the day. I love how the adult cast most of them anyway came back to reprise their roles. With one of the big exceptions being Chris himself. But that's okay. I understand that Tyler in the past had said he doesn't want to be Associated or known for just being Chris and wanted to branch out more, which he has. I think the guy they got the voice Chris does a pretty decent job. My complaint with that is that Chris sounds like a bit of a squeaker this time. Which took me a bit to get used to. Another thing I found strange was that the original actor for Greg is now mainly a voice actor and pretty much still sounds the same as he did on the show all those years ago I have no idea why they did not reach out to him to reprise the role. Or maybe they did, and he was just busy. All in all, everything is intact The Slice of Life moments along with the hilarity. I wait to see what Chris has to deal with next."
