"I’ve been quietly watching this true crime series weekly on Hulu and let me tell you it’s one of the best tv series out right now. A MUST WATCH for any true crime fans or people who just love a good story. I haven’t watched a true crime story this intriguing in a long time. It takes play around ‘96- ‘97 so it’s super nostalgic for me. One of the best 90’s soundtracks I’ve ever heard on any show. This series does such a good job of making you feel like you’re back in the 90’s. The acting is top tier everybody is doing a fantastic job from the kids to the adults. It’s about the murder of a 14 year old girl in British Columbia with a crazy story. I know that’s a broad summary but I rather you watch it for yourself. It’s been so hard not to do research on the case but I didn’t want to spoil anything until the show ends. So luckily anybody trying to catch up the last episode airs on wednesday. "It pains me to say that this has been one of the best true crime turned series I’ve ever watched. Lily Gladstone is a master in this show. It is captivating. Nail biting. So much to unpack, bullying, racism, murder; a weak justice system - who dunnit type of show. What a sad story of a teenager who made lots of grave mistakes, simply wanted to belong, be loved, be accepted, befriended by someone only to fall in the group of the most abhorrent, despicable group of so called ‘lost’ girls/boys. I have absolutely sero empathy towards any of them whom many are still alive. Rest in peace Reena. "

"3.5 stars. This series was based on a true story and it started off very strong. Unfortunately, I've seen too many children like Reena who would do anything to fit in after being targeted. However, somewhere along the way, the author became the center of the story. I know she wrote the book in real life but this was ridiculous. Plus, in the show, the author displayed signs of grooming the kids in my opinion."

"This will be very hard for me to actually review well I’ll get into all of the whys at the end. First off the the three girls not dusty. Did a great job at being bitchy. I’ve never used that word before but they really were. Especially Rina I lost all respect for her after she made false claims on her dad. Her father was the sweetest character in the show. They showed the crime itself well I like how they just sprinkled things episode by episode. Good acting. I really liked the dialogue. Good show really surprised me. Don’t really watch dramatized true crime shows. Mainly because I like the raw real true crime. Still very entertaining show haven’t been as invested by something that quick in a while. So I didn’t really want to review this well I wanted to but I wanted to rant a little bit mainly. So I watched this with family. And I usually don’t do that but I decided, you know I should just spend time with family more when I can and this is a good chance. I do think it was a lot more fun watching it not on my own. Seeing their reactions, discussing things happening, it was fun. I guess it just depends on who you watch shows with because my brother great person to watch shows with. Puts very high up, turns the lights off, and puts on captions(well can’t remember actually). But makes the show more presentable. Now let’s talk about this how this went with other family members(not brother). Volume not the highest but I can follow it. I didn’t ask for captions because I mainly just wanted to watch it to hang out with them. Talking while it’s playing and watching it in 3 days straight right away no questions asked. Honestly I missed a lot of dialogue because of this. Still a very solid show but my brain can’t really process everything that happened in such a short time frame. "
