"Shaq is a very likable person. This doc did provide insight into him, but I suspect that the series could have been a lot longer and had more details. Overall, a decent doc…"

"I would like to praise the production and editing quality of this show. The approach was fun, entertaining in ways that approach as close to a comic-book documentary as you will find while still having a sense of intimacy. Shaq is just fun to watch in general, whether in this docuseries, in interviews or in Inside The NBA. He seems bigger than life and this was the perfect length and format to explore his personality and story. Some of his personality traits were oddly disturbing at times (in speaking of his relationship with success and emotional suppression and reactivity), but it also sheds light on his need to be in the spotlight. By the end I really felt for him and also came away with a lot of admiration for his determination and focus. If there is one thing he does well it is self assessment with his strengths and weaknesses, but perhaps he doesn't have to be too hard on himself when assessing mistakes. I enjoyed this four episode docuseries."
