Living in the flying colony City 7 , he composes and sings songs in the belief that music holds a greater power. However, an unknown alien race appeared and started laying siege upon City 7.

"A great rebirth of the Macross series after many years since the SDF: Macross came out, which starts years after the film Macross Plus as a man seeks to use music to end wars like Lynn Minmay though they motivations and reasons for the war are not apparent at first!!! Worth watching as the series expands upon the world building of the first Macross as it deals more about the Protoculture’s Stellar Republic and what brought its doom although the pacing of the series at first is slow with good action sequences, as it dives deeper till around one-third of the way through the beginning of the series!!"
