"Welcome to Samdal-ri has a slow start, but it ends really strong. I thought the final episode especially was one of the best I've ever seen in terms of pacing the wrap-up of a story. The actors did a great job of representing their characters, particularly in the second half when things get very emotional. And while the writers may have not packed the punch at first, they definitely created a good layout for the show and helped create a very refreshing drama that mixes romance with slice of life. (No sudden historical past life inserts or chaebols, though I'll admit I'm a sucker for the former). Overall, because the second half was so good: 9/10🧣"

"As soon as I saw that the plot of this show was a mix between Our Beautiful Summer and Hometown Cha Cha Cha, I knew I would enjoy it! The ending was very sweet, and there were several plot twists I didn’t see coming. That being said, there were parts of the drama that really dragged on, particularly pertaining to Sam Dal’s work fiasco. Also, several scenes were quite cheesy/cringey, but that is kind of par for the course with most kdramas. "

"My favorite Kdrama ever or at the moment. I loved the emotions the plot of it!! It did remind me a lot of “Our Beloved Summer” but different version. The actor’s chemistry was just so good and also the big friend group that takes place in this Kdrama. I also like the character emprovements. I am just very much in love with this Kdrama and would recommend watching it!!!!"
