"Kinda cool German teen fantasy series set in the 90’s. Hopefully it gets a bigger budget in season two. At times it looks like a student film on an iPhone with cardboard costumes. But at others it’s cool world building with some FX that are more ambitious than its frugal state. It has huge flaws but shoot, a new fantasy series that’s only 6 episodes long? I’m in. And music licensing must be really different in Germany because the soundtrack here is just unbelievable. Every alt/grunge/metal hit from that era are all here. Rock out!"

"soo in love w this series already! from the 90s nostalgia & music from The Black Crows, Pearl Jam & Sound Garden. 90s Germany must have been no different than america. So Mark has to decide if he wants to take the generational battle on against evil creatures from a nightmare fantasy world. This isn’t my usual fortey but it looks fascinating addition to my easter egg hunts, im down the rabbit hole often. The Gryphon is from a parallel world with many strange foreign monsters. According to German mythology Assgard & all other 6 realms are rife w/ cartoon characters, good & evil elfs , talking trees , lol. This is right on time w new theories about many mountains ,huge rocks & stones actually being petrified giants from antiquity, they had metaphysical abilities & precious gemstones may have been part of their physical bodies. bible says they existed so ,who knows. The ending of this series was very unexpected 8/10"

"Typical alternate world plot line with brothers from a special family legacy that can travel between worlds. Done well enough to hold your interest, but nothing particularly inspired about this one. English speakers just read the subtitles, the overdubs are a bit disorienting. Probably will watch a second season if one comes out."
