Stars on Mars

"Who doesn't love William Shatner?! He's funny and adorable on this. Twelve "stars" join a simulated experiment of what it could be like living on Mars. It's filmed in Australia and they do a great job of making it look like the surface of Mars. The stars live there for about three weeks, maybe a bit longer. They have emergencies happen every other day and they have to complete a set of steps that can be brutal and back-breaking in order to survive the emergency and repair/find/etc. the problem. Every couple of days a person is sent back to earth. Mr. Shatner is at the command center on earth and gives them briefings on everything they need to know. One of my favorite parts was getting to know the different stars. There were a few that surprised me on how likeable/loveable they were. Especially one footballer and one mma person. Before this show, I couldn't stand this particular UFC fighter. I'm glad my mind was changed. I swear, some of these people made me want to be friends with them in real life! I don't watch Real Housewives but I would never have believed that I would find myself actually liking one of them. But I fell in love with the one chosen for this show. I've seen reviews of people who didn't care for this show. To each their own. I really enjoyed it!"
