"This is a lot of fun. But it’s super weird and tripped me out. The vibe, the music, the dialogue are all straight out of a Disney production. But I don’t think you will see bong rips and neck stabbings over there. You also don’t get the usual ass kicking Michelle Yeoh, but instead a more well written, dark role she can really get into. Like a lot of good crime family shows, it can glorify the behavior. However, the plot’s good, there’s good laughs and the action, which gets better and more violent as the season goes on, is way better than average. Well done. "

"I binged the whole series yesterday, 26 Feb 2024! Yup it is easily bingeable series. The storyline is meticulously written, the story is just brilliant about triads. The series is packed with action and the cast is so good. The acting is just top notch! I am really impressed with the series, it has quite a bit of comedy but it is mostly dark. The details into the psyche of characters, shows the darkness looming inside which makes you take sides too. Yup that good. 👌 Also the twists have twists, so full of surprises. Michelle Yeoh was the initial selling point for me because I’ll watch just about anything she’s in but I also loved seeing the variety of Asian characters that are often not depicted in western media and seeing their perspective! If I had one issue with the show, it’s this one plot hole, I’ve seen plenty of cop shows/movies and I’ve never seen a cop show/movie where cops don’t at least attempt to tail big suspects but for some reason they don’t seem to like doing that on this show and that kinda drove me crazy! Lol! Outside of that I would say this is an epic work of television that anyone that is even slightly interested in should definitely check out! I enjoyed binging this show and I can’t wait for season 2! I highly recommend it! 🙌🏾🔥"
