In December 1988, Scott Johnson, a gay American mathematician, was found dead beneath a cliff in Sydney, Australia. His death was quickly determined to be a suicide. But Steve Johnson, Scott's older brother, had doubts and would spend the next 35 years trying to solve the mystery of Scott's death. He could have never imagined the tinderbox he would crack open—a wave of anti-gay violence, which was systematically ignored for decades.

"This was interesting docuseries. I liked how there was interviews from all perspectives of the investigation, but what about the other gay men that had died the same way. Where is their justice? Those families didn’t have the financial resources that Scott Johnson’s did. I wish Scott’s brother would have help pushed justice for these men too. "
"I found this doc super interesting. I loved how they didn’t just show things from one perspective. Everyone got their say. I’m always blown away when I see how bad the 80s were for the LGBT+ community. The Grim Reaper commercial they shared left my jaw dropped. Recommend for fans of true crime docs and controversial theories."
