"so this is fantasy gay romance series which is something we rarely get, and despite its flaws, it’s a really entertaining, unique depiction of Thai mythology and love reincarnated. i’ve seen reincarnation used in romance stories before, but this is definitely one of the most unique. although the show struggled with over-explaining and it definitely didn’t have the highest budget, they still ended up with a project that i would happily support a continuation of. i wasn’t super interested in the detective/cop side of things, so i wish that took up a bit less time, and some of the acting wasn’t great, can’t lie. but the story was good, and i kept coming back for more, so. it seems they kinda pointed at a second season at the end, but with the track record the thai bl industry has with sequels, i won’t get my hopes up. regardless, this was a lot of fun and i’ll definitely be rewatching.
