"After watching and loving The Pitt on Max, this show looked like it would be similar. But I was wrong. It started out decent enough, the staff at an ER in Miami had to deal with trauma patients during a major hurricane. 🌀 Sounds great, right? Well that only lasts for a couple of episodes. The medical stuff when they are treating patients isn't bad in this 10 episode series. The problem with this series is the writing. No fault to the actors involved, but the dialogue and relationships between the characters is like it's written as a high school drama. Petty grudges, anxiety and acting as h*rny teenagers. Very childish. So it kind of ruined what could have been a great medical series. 6/10"
"I just finished season one up to episode 10"

"Okay so this is not worth the hype at all. The main character’s acting is not convincing at all and the breathing sounds do not help. It irritates me every time they put it on, and they put it on a lot. The story is not bad, could’ve been better. I expect a lot of seasons but we’ll see. "
"If you’re interested in a really well done medical drama, I would recommend The Pitt. Warning, it does have some gore though.
As someone in medicine, I watched this to joke with my partner about the inaccuracies. While it was fun for that, the non-medical plot was toxic and boring. As others have brought up, the story line about a reported sexual assault is problematic. ~ (spoiler) The flippant nature of the protagonist’s report discredits real victims and reporters of sexual assault. ~ If, like me, you don’t like miscommunication as a plot driver for drama, this trope will irritate you too as many problems could’ve been solved with EQ and a conversation. It’s a show where none of the characters are really likable. They feel less like flawed people who are learning and trying to process their trauma and more like demeaning for no reason, stuck in toxic cycles of abuse, petty, selfish, and jealous. Because of the lack of growth and the simple potential resolutions of these problems, the conflict feels drawn out and dull."

"It’s a decent show. It’s not as cheesy as ppl say but the story plot isn’t that great either. It feels like it’s trying to be a more serious greys anatomy. I watched the first season but won’t watch again. "
