"Quirky, offbeat, and definitely entertaining. Each show is themed with some iconic aspect of LA, and the guests are a mix of comedians and experts matched to that episode's theme. Local Angelinos call in to add their 2 cents to the discussion. The palm tree episode was one of my favorites. Laughing while you learn weird LA facts is so fun. Set decor was a fun, cluttered mashup of styles but leaning toward the 70s with that browish-orangey hue so particular to the era. Made me feel like I was in a 1970s documentary of some former Hollywood star who suddenly discovered his vegan, yoga-loving side but can't part with anything from his more ***** flick past. Such a fun watch! Nice contast to the overly polished shows so common today."
"This had to be one of the realist chaotic shows I’ve watched lol! To the “what kind of car do you drive?” To the character arc of Saymo it was great! It’s also been a looong time since I’ve watched live shows and there’s something really entertaining knowing a show is happening in real time. Like that’s it. John Mulaney’s a great host and all of the guests were so funny! I was cracking up all through episode 5!🤣"
