"Initially, this 3 episode documentary grabbed my interest. But then I was having trouble feeling sorry for the young adults who were easily manipulated by their pastor. Most of these "victims" weren't children, they were adults who should know bullsh*t when they hear it. This self proclaimed "Man of God" would say some ridiculous things and then punctuate it by saying "Praise God", "Amen", or "Thank you Jesus" and they would cheer him. People with a weak constitution who fed into his line of crap. My heart goes out to the families who were affected, essentially cut off from their loved ones with no explanation. This documentary feels unfinished because there is no resolution yet as the case is still ongoing. 6.5/10"

The justice system sucks according to this documentary 😕 I feel bad for those lonely people looking for love, friendship and belonging. No one deserve to be abused or taken advantaged of like that. "4.5 stars. I love a well told document about cults. This was crazy but not overly shocking which is unfortunate. I believe a lot of people are searching for something to belong to and for love. That makes many people susceptible to these types of things. I enjoyed hearing the people who escaped tell their stories."
