"The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World is a typical gimmick isekai at its core. Some of the tokusatsu jokes are worth a chuckle, but not every joke lands. The character designs don't stand out, except for the Amen costume which doesn't appear until the last few episodes of the first season. The action scenes are certainly solid, but they're not enthralling, partly because the animation doesn't set itself apart.
The script makes relentless fun of "the power of friendship" storytelling (with the source of the titular Red's power being the power of bonds, and his Super Sentai team's theming being adhesive bandages, because they bond people's wounds together). However, it invariably counters these jokes with, "Well, hold on, maybe there's something to this friendship, cooperation, and teamwork thing." The result is unjaded storytelling that ribs the convention without undermining the message.
Ultimately, due to nothing being really exceptional I get the impression that this anime was only greenlit because of the announcement of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! I can't compare most of the elements of these two anime, as they're in totally different genres. However, if I had to say which was better, it'd be Loser Ranger. That said, I didn't drop The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World, and I had a reasonably good time watching it (though probably not a good enough time to start a second season)."
