"So I found myself bored by this documentary but it was the style or the way it was set up. Because the story was absolutely crazy. This lady did some horrible and unbelievable things. I did finish the docuseries which was 2 episodes. They did talk a lot about her gambling addiction and were clear that her behavior and actions were NOT common for a gambling addict."
"I get frustrated at documentaries that give admitted killers air time to defend their heinous actions and gain even more fame and attention. This film interviews Lois from prison and while interesting, I found it upsetting at the same time on behalf of the victims and their families. It was a well-done show and interviewed a good number of people involved with the case as well but I just feel like a lot of her interview was a chance for the viewer to gain sympathy for her (even though the filmmakers did press her at times with some tough questions). I don’t believe she deserved that opportunity when she was clearly a sociopathic liar/murderer - then again maybe that’s what the film makers wanted to show first hand? I’m not sure but the title “I’m Not A Monster” implies the opposite."
