"This is a less admirable series that most Netflix documentaries in the true-crime genre. To its credit it’s a fairly exhaustive look at the case, the botched police investigation and the media circus surrounding it. That we come no nearer to any conclusion as to who did it feels like a cop-out and the producers’ tendency to revel in the seediest of details gives the show a tabloid TV feel that most shows choose to avoid. It’s an interesting watch but not a particularly enjoyable one. There are much better, less icky entries in this genre to watch. "
