"One of the best prison shows ever created.....hands down"

"This show isn't for the feint of heart, but it's so damn good! First off, I love the writing of this show and how each episode touches on a specific theme. The entire cast is pretty fantastic, and each member has their moment to shine throughout the series. It does tend to drag a bit in between seasons 3 and 4 but every other season has nonstop twists and turns. The violence can also be a bit gratuitous at times but it's a show about a male prison so you're expected to see things like that. Overall, I really enjoyed this series and highly recommend. "
"In my top 10 shows but this show has very explicit physical and sexual violence perpetrated by both sexes with victims of both sexes, however, being a male prison more male on male acts are shown except in flashbacks. I recommended it to a friend majoring in criminal justice and she couldnβt even get through the 1st ep. Too real. This is 1 of the most satisfying shows from beginning to end with extraordinary acting and characters. Itβs brilliant but painful to watch sometimes. "
