"While this show was able to stay a distant second to Friendship is Magic and didn’t quite find a way to close the gap, it’s certainly a fun, very exciting reboot with a lot of heart and care. This is what separates the okay reboots from great ones like this: original ideas, a versatile, creative premise, memorable cast, and respect for the source material rather than being a cheap commercial. This remains the reboot I point to as one of the Hub’s best and most fun works, but it’s not a GOAT. "
