Love in the Wild

"I'm not into reality shows about love unless they have a cool concept. People all moving into a house together and fighting is not entertaining for me. This show had a fun, wilderness (Costa Rica!!!) adventure with exciting tasks. AND the contestants were hoping to fall in love in the process. I am very jaded and will never get involved with anyone ever again. Just the thought makes me want to puke. Seriously. But this was such a sweet show, I was really wanting these people to find "The One". And some of them did. There was very little drama, which I very much prefer. I want the action and adventure to be what sells the show, not the really sh!tty people who feel like, if they're really like that off camera, they're just truly despicable. And even if they're better people in REAL life ('cause we all know most of these shows are not actual reality), the fact that they will act so disgusting on camera makes me dislike them almost as much as if they were actually that horrible. Go on camera and be a good influence in an, oftentimes, ugly world. It's sad that people find entertainment in watching people be horrible to each other. Excuse me as I climb down off of this high horse. Ok, that's better. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and I'm happy to have found several couples to root for. I truly hope that the final three couples (as well as one other couple from earlier in the show) stay in love forever. I look forward to watching the second season when it comes available. Edit: I just realized this show is from 2011 so I'm gonna go check on the couples to see if any of the four are still together. Season 2 is from 2012 but isn't on Netdix so I'll have to try to find it elsewhere. I hope I do and I hope it's just as sweet as this one!"
