"Guilty Crown has amazing world-building, music, and animation. The majority of the characters are likeable and easy to get emotionally attached to. The introduction of the void genom and the apocalypse virus is very cool and unlike anything I have seen before.
Sadly, I have a few criticisms. The plot progression is rough and extremely slow in the first half of the season. Shu's character growth feels messy and doesn't always make sense for a normal progression. Like Shu, Yahiro, as a character, doesn't make literary sense, as his allegiance keeps switching back between different sides regardless of anything that is going on in the story."
"Absolutely incredible show. Definitely worth a shot. First 4-5 episodes will make or break the show for ya. "
