The Future Diary

"This was the first anime I ever watched. Well, I did watch Hunter D back in the early '90s and hated it but I've since rewatched it with my newfound respect for anime and I really enjoyed it. Anyhoo, The Future Diary was suggested to me by my anime-loving daughter and so I binged it back in '19 or '20. I had my notepad for keeping track of everything and it was nice to see that there were no loose ends. Everything I had a question about was answered. The concept was newer and right up my alley. I love that kind of stuff. "Stuff" being weird, unusual, and intricate. I loved everything about this show and it ruined me for other anime for a long period. Everything I started to watch WASN'T Future Diary and wasn't LIKE Future Diary. It was a bummer because I wanted to watch more anime but was disappointed by everything. Luckily I'm over that and have been for a long time but I'm glad this was my first glimpse into the genre filled with genres. I HIGHLY recommend this show!"
