Twenty years ago, Shokichi Komachi was part of the Bugs 2 mission to Mars that discovered Terra Formars, human-cockroach hybrids that resulted from a terraforming accident. Shokichi was one of only two survivors. Now, the AE virus that came from Mars is raging wildly on earth. Shokichi boards the spacecraft Annex 1 to go back to Mars to find a sample in order to create a vaccine. They will face an unanticipated accident, a multinational conspiracy, and even more advanced Terra Formars.

"I liked the characters and the potential investment in certain ones, as well as the simplicity and straight-forwardness of the show in general. I’m also into insects, so the fact that insect traits play a large role in the squad’s different powers is pretty cool. "

"Great concept, but season one is not that interesting until u r five eps in. The storyline does things backward where they tell you that person's backstory during the dangerous fight scenes that could kill them. Season two is when it gets you wanting more, but it isn't finished, so be warned that you won't get that satisfaction from knowing what happens next."
