"This was such a great show that was ahead of its time. It’s different from more traditional wrestling shows like WWE & AEW. It actually had seasons with a set number of episodes per season as opposed to being year around. Lucha Underground played out more like a a regular tv show with some wrestling in it, as opposed to a wrestling show with some tv elements in it. There’s magic, aliens, murder, all kinds of ridiculous stuff in it. You’d think would sound silly but they pulled it off. "
