"Very unfamiliar with the series, but the visual style and art direction consistent to anime of that period. This 1990 release in particular.... "violent, mature content, graphic". The story is set in a dystopian future, where man and machine live together. The events that unfold predates the "Bubblegum Crisis Incident", as we learn of the A.D. Police and their constant struggle with Boomers. "Dark" "Gritty" "Engaging""

"If you like 80s anime or Yoshiaki Kawajiri or cyber punk then you’ll enjoy this. It’s awesome, but just as a warning it also has the pretty wild stuff that’s typical for adult anime from the time. Just as an example, there’s a stripper robot that is also literally a motorcycle.
Anyways, if you don’t mind that stuff then there is some really interesting sci fi cyberpunk stories and action waiting for you. My favorite episode is ‘The Man Who Bites His Tongue’, but they’re all great."
