"Season 1 is marred by a low-budget look, judges who are a bit much and a struggle to find both the right tone and a winning format. Season 2 throws out almost everything and its more glossy format includes a new set, a new format and, thankfully new hosts/judges. The latter are very good and elevate the series considerably. If season I deserves only 3 stars, season 2 hits the 4-5 range. It’s not the best cooking show on the block but it’s very British and deserves credit for addressing the problems of season 1 so fulsomely "
