"🌟8/10🌟 Aww, so sad this series is over. I’m gonna miss these two wild & crazy chicks (and James Marsden) & all the escapades they found themselves wrapped up in — 🌟S1 & S2🌟 were perfectly paced, never a dull moment #suspenseful #comedy #drama with #wacky yet #relatable characters. My favorite was the #sarcastic, skeptical, cynical, foul-mouthed, head-bangin’, heavy metal listenin’, widowed mom, Jen, played by the lovely Christina Applegate. Unfortunately, I would rate this last season (S3) a little lower than the first two — the last season wrapped up just fine & was very sentimental, but it was not as captivating; I do however realize that S3 had to be cut short & rewritten in order to put together a believable ending due to Applegate’s debilitating MS diagnosis, & sadly, I hate knowing that this could be one of her last acting gigs😞 #bingeworthy #EmmyAwardWinning #mystery #plottwists #friendship #BFFs "
"Finally finished this show. The first 2 seasons are great- funny, interesting, lots of twists and turns. I have lots of respect and admiration for both Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. But the third season is pretty terrible, and there is an unbearable amount of crying throughout. I understand Applegate has been diagnosed with serious medical things in real life and they had to wrap up the show quickly, I get that, but it was really kind of a mess. I still highly recommend watching the first 2 seasons if you don't mind leaving the story unfinished in your mind. Watching season 3 will not make it any more satisfying and it actually took away from the quality of the first 2 seasons for me."
