Huge in France

"The irony here is all posted up around fish-out-of-water tropes, with the twist being the "ugly Americans" are the butt of the jokes in this American production. This is balanced by "French star isn't as famous in America" jokes. The sum is a dramedy that talks about the Los Angeles condition, approval seeking and dysfunctional families. It plays kind of like an art house film comedy. If that sounds like a good time, you'll dig this. If you're looking for "Friends", this is not for you."
