"Hey guys. This show has came up a few times in different threads and I just wanted to make a post it because I think it deserves some discussion.
This limited series, streaming on hulu, is based on the first ever book by best selling author John Green. This show is such a great example of how to do an adaptation.
First, look to the character of the eagle. In the book he is a very strong character but he is largely static. The show dies a great job of humanizing him, giving him an arc, and making him dynamic. In addition, the acting in this show is so on point. Ultimately this is one of my favorite teen shows of all time.
