"A slow and meandering narrative in which you might ultimately find a rewarding, contemplative story if your time spent with it is attentive. It invites you to ponder the intricacies of existence, delving into the relationships between creator and creation. It leaves you to consider the weight of the projections of our brokenness, our sorrow, our hatred which feels timely in this birth of genAI. "
"I have never cried so much watching anything in my life. There are 8 episodes and at least 6 if not all made me shed a few tears.
I'll just blame it on getting old and emotional. 😉
The character development and the emotions elicited from each episode for a lack of a better way to describe it is a lot.
Sadly, some fiction is based on reality.
This is Astroboy-esque which is before my time and even though I watched some old episodes as a kid I don't really remember them but for those that do, this could be for you. Especially as we head down the path of AI as we are now. "
"After watching episode one, it took me a while to return and finish this. But I'm glad I finally made it back. Episode 2 really picked up the story, and I was totally locked in. A great vision on what society integrated with robots might look like. This gives you something to think about. And top it all off, does so with a beautiful art style."
