The dub isn’t as deliciously campy as Digimon Adventure, but it is a thoughtful exercise in what having a Digimon would actually be like. How would you hide them? How would you explain missing food? How can you train them to defend themselves, and you? Is it morally defensible to make Digimon fight and become stronger?"

"I love how fleshed out the characters are in this series, the kids and digimon alike. Hell, even the adults are interesting. Impmon in particular is a delight to watch. If you can, watch the show in Japanese because you will never want to skip The Biggest Dreamer. It's in my Top 10 Anime Intros for me."
