"It's normally hard for me to finish K-Dramas. Not because they have a lot of cringey comedy, stereotypes, and awkward encounters, but because their story has to be so good it's the only thing I'll focus on. After all, I have to read the subtitles to know what's going on. Yet this show kept me hooked from the first episode until the end. I can honestly say no other show has done that. The story is a new take on K-Dramas classic CEO falling for the poor girl. Instead, the CEO is the female. Now don't run! I know k-dramas do not have a good handle on that take, but this one does. Plus, she ends up in a bad situation right at the beginning. & man does it get even better from there. The story progresses in fun and interesting ways. Anytime the story starts to go stale and lose its hook on the watcher, it switches things up and makes you even more interested in what will happen next. Not to mention its rather realistic for K-Drama standards. The dialogue doesn't feel lacking or artificial. It feels like those characters would say that in that moment. I love the villain & seeing him progress was certainly intriguing too. His dynamic with the main male protagonist is also amazing to watch. I love the tension between him & the female lead too. His obsession & motivation also feels right for his character. As for other characters their quirky, yet loveable. The ones you're need to dislike you do until you're no longer supposed to. When certain ones show up you welcome the change. Now the problems. It's really hard to rewatch. You know where the story is going and it takes so long to get to those moments. You deal with everything that happened but you want to skip to your favorite parts. (I often skip the early middle of the season & go to the later middle). Luckily though, on 1st viewing it's hard to notice, & like I said the story changes when it needs to. Overall, a fun show with plenty of action to keep you entertained & suspenseful moments to make it all worth it."
