"This show was a complete dumpster fire! I can’t believe Kevin Smith even signed off on this, let alone created it! I will watch the new series ‘Revolution’ when it finally drops to see if he redeems himself and He-man, because He-man definitely didn’t deserve the treatment that this series gave him! If they had just named this particular series the Teela show or at least gave fans a heads up that she would be the focus, instead of tricking fans into thinking that this series would focus on He-man when it didn’t then I think this show would’ve been much more accepted and done much better. Many fans were expecting something much different from what we got. The animation did look good but that’s about the only nice thing I can say about this series."
"When I first heard of this series I was unbelievably excited as growing up in the early 2Ks, watching the OG he-man on DVD was one of my favorite pass times. But when I watched the first 5eps, it became undeniable that this was not as advertised, from completely rewriting characters backstories, to making Teela the real main character, in no way, shape or form was this a continuation of the OG. But, even still there was a part of me that had fun & deeply appreciated the message in the other 5eps"
"At first I was bummed by the direction the show runner decided to take with the He-Man character, however, it was nice to see how the female characters like Teela and Evil-Lyn stepped up even though it was a highly volatile time and emotions ran high. I enjoyed it. Some fans (particularly male fans) would not appreciate the storyline and direction but I think it made it worked especially when you want something new for a change. Watching the old series, do you really want to bring back the same?"
"Sequel series to the 80s classic. Great story and well written. Lots of bad hype but I’m not sure why. Watch it for yourself and make your own decision. "
