"A begrudging thumbs up. It's not great. Story was predictable, animation was meh for most parts with some great sequences sprinkled in. Only 7 episodes. Never played the game it's based on so I'm sure I missed references. It's a 5.5 out of 10 at best"

"My fear is this show will be overlooked by way too many. It's short enough for anyone that likes action, mythical, drama, fantasy, adventure, and or anime to enjoy. This will be one of the anime that I recommend to non-anime fans that ask for a good series to try first. Almost each episode gives an apocalyptic feel, so the entertainment factor is baked in. Hop on into this new, short, and binge worthy universe! "
