SPEAKING WITH ACTIONSIt’s been five years since Shoya Ishida bullied Shoko Nishimiya so badly she left their elementary school, because of one simple difference between them: Shoya can hear, and Shoko can’t. In the intervening time, Shoya’s life has changed completely. Shunned by his friends, Shoya’s longed for the chance to make up for his cruelty. When it finally comes, will he find the voice to tell Shoko he’s changed? And will Shoko listen?

"TW: Discussions of suicide
Don’t typically have much to say with mangas so this isn’t much different. I really enjoyed this. The first one is definitely a lot sadder and makes you hate Shoya as a character where this does the exact opposite. I like seeing him get a redemption arc and him wanting to make things right in his life. Shoko did forgive him quite quickly and it seems her family is more mad that she is but I like where the story is headed and I’m excited to read more."
"An all time favorite Animated movie of mine. It’s a tear jerking story that really makes you see things from a different perspective. It covers suicide, bullying, anxiety, depression and guilt. But has a way of sweetly wrapping it up in a heartfelt way."
