"A roller coaster of emotions!!! <br/><br/>Cliff an unapologetic anti- hero. Unsure of what to do with this hustler who has clearly seen him committing a crime, he takes the man to his home. Almost instantly, he is drawn to this beautiful man who seems broken and has experienced the not so happy ending of the coming out story. Jimmy makes him a proposition to “take does” some other bad people and profit financially. He and his partner work with Jimmy. What cliff the confirmed bachelor does not count on is falling in love with Jimmy. But Jimmy has secrets too…can these two men overcome secrets, criminal behavior, sex traffickers, and IA? Of course they will this is a HEA!!<br/><br/>The mystery is very well done and the foreshadowing during the book is spot on. When I figured it out, I did a word search within the book to confirm my suspicions before reading on to the end! Because there are very clear reasons these two men should bit be together, it is a very slow burn, but when they do get together, it is fire!!!<br/><br/>Great story! Wonderful world building and character development (both primary and secondary characters). No one chapter is all good or all bad, there are nuanced people making choices based on the situations in which they find themselves and the grief and loneliness they feel. It shows the gray in a morally ambiguous world. <br/><br/>Warning: I wouldn’t consider this a dark story, but there are mentions of sexual violence, all of which happens off the pages, and homophobic language.<br/><br/>I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion"
