When a spirited young woman with a penchant for adventure finds herself locked away in a dragon’s tower, she realizes that fate has a peculiar sense of humor when it comes to her romantic prospects, in this laugh-out-loud fantasy rom-com. All children are told fairytales. Some are epic adventures with high stakes and exciting twists, while others are tales of pitiful princesses trapped in boring towers pining for their Prince Charmings to come and rescue them. Growing up, Cherry always hated those stories. Why didn’t the princesses just get up and rescue themselves? Little did she know that her own fate would take an ironically similar turn. Because now, here she is. Stuck. In a tower. Turns out, when a dragon holds you hostage, he doesn’t just let you get up and leave. Who knew? And just when Cherry thinks she sees hope on the horizon, that hope is smashed to bits by—you guessed it—another damn dragon.

"*SPOILERS* This was probably my least favorite of the series so far. Glad we finally got to meet Cinnamon’s long lost sister. The first half was laugh out loud funny, it was a fun read. But she was kidnapped for 5 years and was in no rush at all to get home to her family lol. That was kinda weird to me. The end dragged a bit because I wasn’t sure what the plot was and it just kinda felt forced with this 3rd book? Still going to read more books by this author though! I loved the rest of the series!"
"3.5 stars - This was so cute! I liked the expanded world we got to see with the demon realm and Dante’s castle. I thought the shenanigans were also widely entertaining (first we got cult action and now there’s zombies?!). I wish there had been some more tension between Cherry and Dante trans that we had gotten to see where they ended up settling considering Cinnamon and Fallon already claimed their home town."

"I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.<br/><br/>I LOVE the Mead Mishap series and I was over the moon excited when I found out book 3 was on its way and it was about Dante. This book did not disappoint and as usually Ms. Lemming’s comic stylings did not miss. <br/><br/>The story focuses on Dante and his journey to find his mate. And upon visiting anther dragon he gets drugged by the long thought dead sister of Cinnamon, Cherry, who is determined to get Dante to rescue her and take her home. Once he realizes she's his mate we follow his journey to: 1 convince her to be his mate, 2 to get her to trust him enough to tell him where her home is. <br/><br/>When I figured out who Cherry was i couldn't wait for the reunion. And of course, our favorite talking sword makes an appearance as well. <br/><br/>This was an awesome story of adventure, trust, and the journey to build a friendship through all types of trials and obstacles. And it will keep you entertained as well as make you laugh out loud. <br/><br/>My only complaint was it wasn't long enough, and I personally wanted more of a reunion between Cherry and Cinnamon. It definitely has me wanting more from this group of dysfunctional friends. <br/><br/>"
