"3.5 stars rounded down<br/>This was a great book if you are looking for a relatively uncomplicated audiobook. It was easy to keep up with and didn’t leave you with the feeling you missed a part if you lost focus for a minute. <br/><br/>The story is your typical suburban neighborhood, where neighbors on Arden street are very close and have a block party every year on Memorial Day. The book spans over a year and the reader is aware from the start that the next Memorial Day there will be a murder. During the year, secrets from each neighbor and their children become revealed, until big twists at the end reveal themselves. <br/><br/>If you are looking for an easy read and enjoy neighborhood domestic thrillers, I would recommend this one for you. <br/><br/>Many thanks to @macmillian.audio for my complimentary audiobook and @SMPress for the arc. "This book disappointed and was mostly underwhelming. One of the main characters is about 17 and their account is rough to get through at times. The last 1/4 of this book was suspenseful and entertaining however. "

"It's so much happening in this story! I had to reread some of it to figure out! <br/><br/>Lol 1st Alex is a drunk, her husband is a push over and need to grow some balls and she needs to stay out of out everyone business! <br/><br/>Emily- you need to leave your husband you know he cheating on you! Stop running to your sister! He cheating and she can't help!!AND YO MAN IS A CREEP<br/><br/>Brooke- get that dude to stop stalking you! Stop being a pushover and acting like he harmless <br/><br/>Amanda- just kill who you need to kill and heal baby girl! You most definitely deserve it!<br/><br/>And bugman! Stop being a pest! <br/><br/>Willow- yo man is a CREEP!! <br/><br/>And yall need to get a hold of yall kids they just running around drinking and doing drugs just out of control! <br/><br/>Book was really awesome tho! "There were a lot of different storylines at play in this neighborhood thriller and some were more engaging than others. By the end, there were some connections between characters that left me feeling a bit confused and wondering if I missed some plot points along the way.<br/><br/>I think this would be a good pool or beach read this summer!<br/><br/>Thanks to NetGalley for the digital ARC."
